Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard should probably be careful when criticizing sweetheart law firm deals.

The man who said during his campaign that he would never rely on big, powerful lobbyists or hand the keys to his administration over to old-timey political hacks has, since taking office, appointed a big, powerful lobbyist to head the Capital Improvement Board and invited in several other high-profile GOPers to call the shots on the 25th floor.

I understand that politics is politics, and Ballard didn’t/doesn’t understand politics, but I’d counsel him to avoid throwing stones at other people when his house ain’t exactly in order.
