A friend of mine recently suggested that he can get any show that is on cable over the internet for free.  He recently ditched Comcast but kept his high speed internet.  He asked me to give him three shows that are on cable and he would find them for me on the internet.  My three favorite cable shows are (1) Top Gear (2) Ice Road Truckers and (3) Fifth Gear.  He within 15 minutes had all three shows up and running on his PCby using various internet sites like Joost, WwItv, Hulu, and the old standby YouTube.  You can even watch all 99 episodes of ABC’s best show LOST (my opinion)  at ABC.com.

The Wall Street Journal reported last month that 1.1 million people have ditched their cable and satellite providers and kept their high speed internet box even though companies like Comcast and AT&T are offering bundled services at reduced rates. 

It’s a good thing you can still put your digital antenna up and receive programming over the air without a computer and internet connection, though if you have one you can  start watching all 99 episodes of LOSTand  be ready for the start of the 100th episode!
