TMZ.com reports Sanjaya’s mom once went to jail for growing marijuana. In 2005, police arrested Jillian Blith at a pot growing facility near the family home in Washington.
Sanjaya’s stepdad Charles Quist was also arrested.At the family’s home, authorities also found 310 marijuana plants in the garage! There the wannabe pop singer’s sister, Shyamali, was arrested for possession of marijuana. She was 17. Blith served a 30 day sentence after pleading guilty to a felony count of unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance.

We first reported Wednesday morning that TMZ.com had inside info and Rosie O’Donnell will be leaving The View. ABC Daytime is now confirming that is unable to reach an agreement with Rosie that would extend her co-hosting duties. Her previously announced one-year contract will expire Mid-June.
“I am very sad that ABC Daytime could not reach an agreement with her for a second year,” says Barbara Walters, creator of the show. “We will all miss Rosie on “The View,” and hope she will be back with us often next season. She remains for me a cherished friend and colleague.”
Good Morning. Thank you for visiting the Good Morning Indiana blog. Our big story this morning, of course, is the prison riot yesterday in New Castle. Two prison guards and seven inmates were injured. Many Democratic lawmakers are pointing the finger at the Governor, saying the state should never have let an outside company run a state prison. Democrats also say this never would have happened if the Governor had not approved housing out-of-state inmates in Indiana prisons. What do you think? The move is being made after yesterday’s shooting just off campus. One student was shot in the leg. He’s in stable condition and the man who police say pulled the trigger is behind bars.
