YouTube has videos of everything from bad karaoke to kids doing skateboard stunts. Now, you can also see criminals on YouTube.com.

The Knox County Tennessee Sheriff’s Office is posting security camera video of criminals in action. One video of a purse-snatcher drew more than 1,800 hits on the Web site.

Deputies believe the YouTube video helped generate a tip that led to the arrest of a suspect. Officials say YouTube is effective, and doesn’t bog down the county’s Web servers.
