State Dept. Launches Its Own Blog for Surfers

The State Department is launching its first-ever blog, live on the Internet. It’s called “Dipnote,” and it’s supposed to give Net surfers an insider’s view of diplomacy.

A spokesman says the challenge will be to inform people and still give diplomacy the space it needs.
