The covered bridge chapter of the NWTF Hunting Heritage Banquet will be held Saturday, March 14th, 2009, 6pm at the Dixie Chopper Business Center in Greencastle, Indiana.   The banquet will have educational speeches along with games and prizes. 

This will be my first year for attending.  I’ve been wanting to go for awhile, but it hasn’t worked out.  It should be a good time for socializing with fellow outdoorsmen and women.  You can call Peggy Royer at 765-739-6135 for pricing and availability.

The Indiana House of Representatives passed House Bill 1585 on 2/16/09. The bill will increase bag limits on deer in the top 30 counties for deer car collisions. It may also lengthen firearms season and allow crossbows. DNR is opposed to this bill. The Indiana Deer Hunters association is opposed to this also.
