Rabbit Season
Today you can start hunting cottontail rabbits in certain parts of Indiana. You can go to the DNR website to find out where. Rabbit season opens for all areas on Nov. 6th. The bag limit is 5 per day.

Today is the Day!!!
Early season archery begins today across Indiana. It should be a good start to the hunting season, I noticed a lot of deer moving around last night about sundown. Early season archery runs from today thru Nov. 29th. If you harvest a deer we sure would like to see your pics.

Girt’s Archery at Boondock’s Farms
Spencer, my son, and I went to Boondocks Farms this weekend and met up with the guys at Girt’s Archery. They let Spencer take some target practice. Girt’s is located in Anderson and Straughn. The instructors were very helpful with Spencer. We will have a video of this coming soon.

Indiana Fall Turkey Season “DNR CORRECTION”
The DNR wants to make sure you know the following dates are for the Fall Turkey Season.
Oct. 1- Oct.25 Archery Only
Oct. 21 – Oct 25 Firearms or Archery in specified counties.
You can go to the DNR website to find out which county’s you can hunt in with what weapon.
