Each month, Indiana University sends me a news release called Star Trak. The news release contains information on meteor showers, moon phases and planets.

As we move closer, I will give you information on the Leonid Meteor shower November 17th.

Here are a couple of planets to keep an eye on right now:

–Jupiter will be easy to see in the southern sky after sunset. This brigh planet will set around midnight early in the month.

–Pumpkin-colored Mars rises shortly before midnight and will be highest in the southern sky before sunrise.
