Settling in
Hey everyone. I apologize for taking so long to respond to the wonderful comments. My family and I have finally moved into our house and now we are just trying to unpack everything. I never knew we had so much “stuff”!!!! It’s unbelievable.
We kick off the RV tour tomorrow (August 29). Hopefully we’ll be able to see you.
For those of you who suggested we go to Eastern Star church, thank you!!!! The sermon was very good and the praise music was also fantastic.
Tonya, thank you for offering to suggest hair stylists for my wife, Valarie. Yes, that is VERY important.
Pam, I haven’t caught up with Angela Cain just yet. We’ve exchanged emails a couple of times but when I contact her again I’ll be sure to mention your name.
Erika, when you get that next dog named “Wallace” please email a picture to me.
And once again, thank you everyone for the kind words. God bless you all!!!

Hi,
This is Tyler from Riverside. I hope you have an easy and pleasant experience moving in.
Hello Todd & Valarie. I am Greg Harlow’s (KXAS-TV) sister. I’ve lived here since early 2004. I was psyched when Greg told me you were coming here to Indy. I was also surprised to learn you’re from Baltimore, as are we. Small world, huh? I can also tell you about a few great churches here in town. Hope to see you soon.

Hi Todd,
I am Shawn Yancy’s mom. Welcome to Indianapolis. It’s very good to have you here. She has told me a lot about you and your family. I hope you have a very successful career Indianapolis. May God continue to bless you and your family.
Todd,
We will miss you in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. You have become a trusted “friend” each weekend as we watched the news. We especially enjoyed when you would give the animals (dogs, cats or whatever) a kiss on the head to help them get adopted.
God bless you and your family as you begin this new adventure in your lives.
Blessings,
Monroe and Leota Ritchie

Todd -
Welcome to Indianapolis. I just left Maryland, my sister lives in Forestville. I take her “darling nephews” to visit when we can. She teaches 7th grade Biology at Takoma Middle School. Take the time to visit Mr. Dennis Bland at the Center for Leadership Development who has a true passion for developing minority students in this community so they can be prepared for college (emphasis on Character, Leadership, Educational excellence, Community Service and Career Achievement). Their offices are on Washington Blvd. They will be having a ground breaking for their new facility coming up in October I believe.
Todd and family welcome to the city, while Eastern Star is good church My church will welcome you also Friendship Missionary Baptist Church
1301 N. Goodlet Ave
Rev.Ronald Covington Sr. is also worth a visit service start a 11:00am
Hello Mr. Wallace. Welcome to Indianapolis! I hope that you’re continuing to experience a smooth transition to our city. I also saw you on Sunday at Light of the World and I do hope that you and your family were blessed through the worship service.
Stay Blessed!!
Todd-
I just followed a CNN story about WRTV-6 and there you were! What is it about the Indianapolis market “stealing” good people (Angela Cain) from DFW? I grew up in INDY and moved to Fort Worth over 22 years ago to attend school and stayed.
I bet this will be a good move for you and hope you don’t freeze this winter. Be prepared for lots more Basketball news and the INDY 500!
I wish only the best for you and your family!
Ken
