Kid-friendly must-sees
Indy is so much fun to explore. I’ve been here many times as a guest, but it’s much more fun as a permanent citizen!
We Shepherds are already regulars at the Children’s Museum (where we can never seem to get them out of the train and dinosaur area…) and we LOVED LOVED LOVED Conner Prairie this weekend.
I know we’ll be hitting the zoo soon - but I’d love to hear some of your suggestions on great kid-friendly attractions not too far from Indy.
Ian and I are also dying to find some places to go out to eat where people won’t look at you funny if someone’s mac-n-cheese ends up in their hair.
As long as it’s a place where Clara and her two “babies” (dolls she drags everywhere) are welcome, she’ll eat just about anything. Cal’s favorite meal lately is meatloaf - go figure. But it’d be great to find a place where there’s semi-interesting adult food along with chicken fingers and fries.
Looking forward to hearing from some of you!

Hi Trisha,
First of all, thanks for giving people a chance to know a little about you and what you enjoy when you aren’t behimd the camera.
I do have a suggestion for a great place to eat, and I believe they also have a kid’s menu. It is on the southeast side of Indy, at the intersection of Raymond and Sherman. It is called WW’s. It is mainly a barbecue place, but they have all different sorts of food with a home-cooked taste. I love this place! I hope you and the family will get a chance to check it out.
Ken-
Thanks for taking time to write in. We love barbecue. Someone else recommended GT South’s on the NE side and it was delicious - and fast. I will add WW’s to my list.
I appreciate your suggestions, and hope you’re enjoying the newscasts too.
