A personal note tonight…
Perhaps by now my unbuttoned jackets have raised your suspicions…
Yes, I am doing my best to redefine “expanded” news coverage.
My family is growing. 
Baby Shepherd #3 should be arriving in mid-May and my husband Ian, Clara, Calvin and I are thrilled!
I feel pretty darned lucky to be surrounded by family, friends, and co-workers who are so supportive and so sincerely happy about our news.
I’m not expecting my juggling act to get any simpler, but I know I’ve become pretty good at making it all work somehow, and it will be well worth it when we meet this bundle of joy!

really now. i just saw you tonight and i didnt even think about it……….lol well, they say after the 3rd baby it really dont matter how many more you have its all about the same. i think you will do well. your one of the lucky moms you have that stay at home dad. now that’s alot of help in itself. CONGRADULATIONS. i wasnt wondering anything. in fact i was shocked.lol

I should clarify, Ian actually is not a stat-at-home dad – he works at a W. side HS teaching their marching band drummers, teaches private lessons, and performs. We are lucky to have him home more than a lot of dads with more conventional schedules! He is a great dad and a huge support to me.
