Did you know that this is the first year Indiana has a program to connect farmers with hunters. The Hunters Helping Farmers program is for farmers who have crop damage from deer. According to the DNR website over 7000 hunters registered for the program. The deadline has passed for hunters to sign up for the program, but if you know a farmer who would like to have his property hunted they can contact the DNR to set this up. The program is only for antlerless deer.
